To the event and the reg­is­tra­tion for the com­pe­ti­tions of the O-SEE Chal­lenge 2021 and the XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship 2021

Gen­er­al

Because of the Coro­na pan­dem­ic, there are seri­ous changes regard­ing the start of online reg­is­tra­tion and pay­ment modal­i­ties com­pared to pre­vi­ous years.

The com­pe­ti­tion will be car­ried out in com­pli­ance with the then valid Coro­na reg­u­la­tions and in com­pli­ance with a cor­re­spond­ing approved hygiene con­cept. If and how this may lead to changes/adjustments in the course of the event or to limitations/restrictions, e.g. num­ber of par­tic­i­pants, can­not be fore­seen at the moment.

There will be some changes in the MTB course, espe­cial­ly on the Reduced Trail. How­ev­er, the sit­u­a­tion is per­ma­nent­ly chang­ing due to the exten­sive for­est work, so there is no final sta­tus on this yet. We hope to final­ize plans for this by 3/1/2021. The route plans and the cor­re­spond­ing GPS data will then be made avail­able for down­load. How­ev­er, changes until August can­not be ruled out, please note the infor­ma­tion on this.

The sup­port­ing pro­gram will be planned and car­ried out in accor­dance with the applic­a­ble hygiene reg­u­la­tions. Whether the evening events can be car­ried out as usu­al is not fore­see­able at the moment. A more bind­ing state­ment on this will be made by 5/31/2021.

How­ev­er, we would like to hold the events as they are an impor­tant and for­ma­tive part of the event and will explore all pos­si­bil­i­ties in this regard.

Since the sit­u­a­tion and the bound­ary con­di­tions for the event imple­men­ta­tion can change per­ma­nent­ly, we ask you to pay atten­tion to notifications/messages on our web­sites or the social media chan­nels Insta­gram and Face­book.

Announce­ments

The announce­ments for all com­pe­ti­tions on August 21 and 22 of the O-SEE Chal­lenge 2021 can be viewed online and down­loaded as PDF from 3/1/2021.

Fur­ther infor­ma­tion (announcement/registration etc.) about the new com­pe­ti­tion for­mat Short Track will be pub­lished by April 1 The XTERRA Short Track is a sprint triathlon, which will be held for the first time on August 20 direct­ly at the O-SEE.

Start Online Reg­is­tra­tion

On 3/1/2021 12:00pm online reg­is­tra­tion will start for the fol­low­ing events:

· O-SEE X’Kids/ Sax­ony Cham­pi­onship Cross Triathlon

Reg­is­tra­tion is pos­si­ble via www.xterragermany.de and www.o-see-challenge.de

The online reg­is­tra­tion ends on August 6, 2021 12:00pm. With online reg­is­tra­tion dead­line also ends the pos­si­bil­i­ty of can­cel­la­tion and entry fee refund.

Entry fee trans­fer from 2020

Par­tic­i­pants who have decid­ed to trans­fer 50% of their entry fee to 2021 after the can­cel­la­tion of the event in 2020 will receive a cor­re­spond­ing vouch­er code by mail by March 1, 2021. After enter­ing the code when reg­is­ter­ing for 2021, the entry fee will be adjust­ed indi­vid­u­al­ly by the respec­tive amount.

Payment/Cancellation

Due to the pan­dem­ic-relat­ed impon­der­ables last­ing until sum­mer and the risk for all par­ties involved (orga­niz­ers and ath­letes), the pay­ment dead­line after reg­is­tra­tion will be extend­ed. Details are cur­rent­ly being coor­di­nat­ed with the reg­is­tra­tion por­tal ser­vice providers.

The pos­si­bil­i­ties of refund­ing the entry fee in case of ath­lete can­cel­la­tion or can­cel­la­tion due to pan­dem­ic will be extend­ed. Details can be found in the announce­ment doc­u­ments after pub­li­ca­tion on 3/1/2021.
