Infor­ma­tion about the start of online reg­is­tra­tion

On 1 March 2021 at 12.00 noon the already eager­ly await­ed online reg­is­tra­tion for our fol­low­ing com­pe­ti­tions will start:

• XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship 2021
• O-SEE Clas­sic
• O-SEE Team
• O-SEE Reduced
• O-SEE Light
• O-SEE X’Kids/ Sax­ony Cham­pi­onship Cross Triathlon

How­ev­er, please take note of the fol­low­ing instruc­tions regard­ing the report­ing pro­ce­dure, which are due to the spe­cial (coro­na-relat­ed) sit­u­a­tion:

The reg­is­tra­tions are pos­si­ble via www.o-see-challenge.de (for all com­pe­ti­tions) or via www.xterragermany.de for the par­tic­i­pa­tion in the XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship.

Reg­is­tra­tion in the peri­od from March 1. to May 31, 2021 for all com­pe­ti­tions is ini­tial­ly only a reg­is­tra­tion for a wait­ing list. With the June 1, 2021 you will receive a pay­ment request with the pay­ment options to the mail address you pro­vid­ed. Atten­tion: Only with pay­ment the start­ing place is then secured.

While the reg­is­tra­tion for the races of the O-SEE Chal­lenge will be done via the usu­al reg­is­tra­tion por­tal, you will be redi­rect­ed to the page of the Active por­tal for the reg­is­tra­tion for the XTERRA race. After enter­ing the data there, please select the option “pay­ment plan”, so that the pay­ment will be made only from June 1, 2021.

With this two-step pro­ce­dure of reg­is­tra­tion, we want to sig­nif­i­cant­ly reduce the risk of can­cel­la­tion asso­ci­at­ed with refund claims due to a total can­cel­la­tion due to pan­dem­ic or an indi­vid­ual can­cel­la­tion due to their own coro­na ill­ness.

Reg­is­tra­tions as of June 1,2021 are then, as usu­al, asso­ci­at­ed with the imme­di­ate pay­ment oblig­a­tion, as the remain­ing time until the event then allows a risk assess­ment with regard to a coro­na-relat­ed can­cel­la­tion for all par­tic­i­pants.

Online reg­is­tra­tion clos­es at 12:00 noon on August 6, 2021. With the online reg­is­tra­tion dead­line also ends the pos­si­bil­i­ty of can­cel­la­tion and entry fee refund.

Entry fee trans­fer from 2020

Par­tic­i­pants who have decid­ed to trans­fer 50% of their entry fee to 2021 after the can­cel­la­tion of the 2020 event in the mail/online inquiry car­ried out in 2020 will receive a cor­re­spond­ing vouch­er code by mail by March 1, 2021. After enter­ing the code when reg­is­ter­ing for 2021, the entry fee will be adjust­ed indi­vid­u­al­ly by the respec­tive amount.

Payment/Cancellation

The pos­si­bil­i­ties of refund­ing the entry fee in case of ath­lete can­cel­la­tion or can­cel­la­tion due to pan­dem­ic will be extend­ed. Details can be found in the ten­der doc­u­ments after pub­li­ca­tion on March 1, 2021.
