The offseason is over! Soon it gets hot again in the crosstriathlon scene. On February 24, 2019, the XTERRA World Tour 2019 will start in Grabouw, South Africa, not far from Cape Town. The race in South Africa is one of the traditional races that took place in 2004 for the first time. Among the starters, the reigning world champion Carina Wasle (Austria) and at his home race course, Bradley Weiss (South Africa), which are also regularly guests at the O-SEE Challenge, start to fight from the beginning of the season to defend their title.
The race at the Grabouw Country Club counts as one of the selection races for the 2019 ITU Crosstriathlon World Championships.

The organizer promises an action-packed weekend with the XTERRA LITE and XTERRA Kids on the 23rd of February and the full distance on Sunday, as well as entertainment for the whole family.
XTERRA President Janet Clark says, „They live and breathe XTERRA in South Africa.” The experience is a special one for the athletes from the northern hemisphere, because in contrast to the north, it is summer in South Africa already and the weather is fantastic.
The XTERRA World Tour features 39 races in 29 countries around the world, with athletes qualifying for Maui at every race!
