All races for Sat­ur­day (XTERRA, O-SEE Clas­sic, O-SEE Team Clas­sic, O-SEE Reduced, O-SEE Team Reduced) are about 90% booked out. Start places can still be booked on site. Late entries are pos­si­ble on Fri­day, 18.08.2023 from 1 pm.
Start­ing places for the Sun­day com­pe­ti­tions of O-SEE X’Kids and O-SEE Light/Team are still avail­able, on-site entries are still pos­si­ble from Fri­day – Sun­day.

Access and park­ing
Access is basi­cal­ly only via the S137/Äußere Weber­straße to the leisure oasis Olbers­dor­fer See.
There is a suf­fi­cient num­ber of park­ing spaces avail­able. These are liable to pay costs. (Dai­ly fee 2 €). Access via Süd­straße Olbers­dorf is not pos­si­ble, it is closed.
Atten­tion: Due to a con­struc­tion site at the traf­fic cir­cle to the leisure oasis Olbers­dor­fer See there will be wait­ing times at the con­struc­tion site traf­fic lights. Please allow at least 15 min­utes wait­ing time when approach­ing the park­ing lot at the leisure oasis.

Com­pe­ti­tion brief­in­gs
Com­pe­ti­tion brief­in­gs will take place on Fri­day, Aug. 18, 5 p.m. and Sat­ur­day, Aug. 19, 10 a.m. The brief­ing will be made avail­able dig­i­tal­ly. For elite starters, there will be addi­tion­al con­tacts for spe­cif­ic ques­tions.

Water tem­per­a­ture and qual­i­ty
The qual­i­ty of the water is with­out com­plaint. A cur­rent water analy­sis is avail­able.
The water tem­per­a­ture is cur­rent­ly 21 °C. A final deci­sion on whether to ban neo­prene will not be made until Sat­ur­day morn­ing. Accord­ing to the cur­rent status/weather fore­cast, it can be assumed that a neo­prene ban will be issued.

Bicy­cle wash­ing area
Unfor­tu­nate­ly, we can­not offer a bike wash area this year due to envi­ron­men­tal and water law rea­sons (with­draw­al ban). Wash­ing bikes in the O-SEE is strict­ly pro­hib­it­ed. Vio­la­tions will result in a sub­se­quent dis­qual­i­fi­ca­tion.

Show­ers
Show­ers pos­si­ble at the camp­site, show­er tokens can be pur­chased there.

Bicy­cle stands on the venue
There will be des­ig­nat­ed bicy­cle racks on the fes­ti­val area. It is pos­si­ble to park your bikes there, but they must be secured with their own locks. Atten­tion: It is for­bid­den to lock the bicy­cles on the bor­ders of the com­pe­ti­tion tracks.
Impor­tant note: Please do not leave bicy­cles unat­tend­ed or on the out­side of the vehi­cle. There is a risk of theft. As soon as the bikes are placed in the tran­si­tion area, they will be guard­ed by the orga­niz­er. Out­side the tran­si­tion area, the orga­niz­er does not assume any secu­ri­ty guar­an­tees or dam­age set­tle­ments due to theft.

Check-In/Check-Out
It is request­ed that the times indi­cat­ed in the Race Sched­ule for check-in into the tran­si­tion area are strict­ly adhered to. After 11.30 a.m. access to the tran­si­tion area is no longer pos­si­ble. Please remove the bikes from the tran­si­tion area after the race until the time lim­it stat­ed in the race sched­ule. The bikes will only be hand­ed out upon pre­sen­ta­tion of the bike coupon.

Swim­ming
Swim­ming caps will be hand­ed out at the swim start. The start will take place sep­a­rate­ly for each race in com­pli­ance with the spac­ing rules.

MTB cours­es
There is a dan­ger of slip­ping and rolling on loose, sandy ground on the MTB cours­es. Old ruts are hard and part­ly dan­ger­ous to ride. There is a short-term route change in the area of the Hochwald sum­mit com­pared to the pub­lished plans. The change is clear­ly marked.

Run­ning routes
There are no changes com­pared to 2021.
Atten­tion: XTERRA, Clas­sic and Team Clas­sic have to run 2 laps of 5 km each.
The lap tran­si­tion is clear­ly marked and sign­post­ed.
Reduced and Team Reduced only one lap a 5 km. Please note!

Fin­ish and award cer­e­mo­ny
Suf­fi­cient cater­ing is pro­vid­ed in the fin­ish area.
Mas­sage facil­i­ties and med­ical care are avail­able in the fin­ish area.
Award cer­e­monies accord­ing to Race Sched­ule from 16.00 for the O-SEE cat­e­gories, from 18.00 for the XTERRA cat­e­go­ry, 18.45 for the Ger­man Cham­pi­onship.

From 17.00 under the weath­er shield.

After Race O-SEE Open Air
After the award cer­e­mo­ny starts the leg­endary O-SEE Open Air.
DJs Robin, Nico, Anie will pro­vide the appro­pri­ate atmos­phere under the futur­is­tic weath­er shield. The entrance is free.

Open­ing O-SEE Challenge/XTERRA Germany/DM
The offi­cial open­ing of the event with inter­views, video clips and con­clud­ing live music will take place on Fri­day at 8 p.m. after the pas­ta par­ty under the weath­er shield, end­ing at approx. 10 p.m.
