XTERRA is the pre­mier off-road mul­ti­sport brand in the Euro­pean Union with races in 12 coun­tries pro­vid­ing top com­pe­ti­tion for pro­fes­sion­als and ama­teurs alike. Mul­ti­ple dis­tances for all abil­i­ties and events for the entire fam­i­ly includ­ing trail runs and kids races.

ELITE RAC­ING AND AMA­TEUR QUAL­I­FI­CA­TION TO MAUI

Ama­teur rac­ers have the chance to secure a spot into the 25th annu­al XTERRA World Cham­pi­onship in Kapalua, Maui at every race. There are 51 qual­i­fy­ing slots award­ed at each of the Gold lev­el events in Croa­t­ia, France-Xon­rupt, Italy-Scan­no and Ger­many, and 26 slots award­ed at the Sil­ver lev­el races in Mal­ta, Greece, Por­tu­gal, Italy-Gar­da, Bel­gium, Switzer­land, France-Nou­velle Aquitaine, Nether­lands and Lux­em­bourg.

Age groupers also have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to win the XTERRA Euro­pean Tour title which will qual­i­fy them for their choice of the 2020 or 2021 XTERRA World Cham­pi­onship race.  The rules are sim­ple, every race counts and most points wins.

New this year, elite rac­ers count 50% of their races, plus one. If 14 races on Tour, your best 8 scores count, regard­less if gold or sil­ver and must include what­ev­er they score – or don’t score – at the cham­pi­onship race in Ger­many. So a start at the Euro­pean Cham­pi­onships is vir­tu­al­ly a must if you want to be among the lead­ers, whether you are an elite or an ama­teur.
