Start for the O-SEE Chal­lenge and XTERRA EC 2021 – the show must go on again!

Yes – the XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship 2021 with the XTERRA Short Track Race and the O-SEE Chal­lenge with O-SEE X´Kids will def­i­nite­ly take place. That is the good news. And – no, this is not bad news, but anoth­er piece of “good news”: The O-SEE Chal­lenge will take place with a sup­port­ing pro­gramme, maybe not as opu­lent as in 2019, but still. A lit­tle show, a lit­tle glam­our, a lit­tle enter­tain­ment and a lot of sport. That was the unan­i­mous deci­sion of the organ­is­ing team on Mon­day evening.  The cur­rent devel­op­ments in the pan­dem­ic in the Free State of Sax­ony mean­while allow for opti­mistic event plan­ning.

The cen­tral mes­sage is now: With a rel­a­tive­ly high degree of cer­tain­ty we can now encour­age all hob­by ath­letes, ambi­tious age groupers and elite ath­letes to reg­is­ter for the XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship, the O-SEE Chal­lenge and the X’Kids. Many hes­i­tat­ed because of the uncer­tain sit­u­a­tion. That should be over now. You are wel­come.
