Ruben Ruzafa and Brigitta Poor win XTERRA France

The Spaniard Ruzafa is probably unbeatable on this course. In the best conditions he relegated Arthur Forrisier (FRA) and Bradley Weiss (RSA) to the ranks with a brilliant demonstration on the bike. It is now the 5th victory in a row… For the reigning XTERRA World Champion Weiss it was the first race in Europe this season, which he immediately finished on the podium. The young Frenchman Forrisier once again showed his strength this season and took the lead in the XTERRA European Tour classification with second place in Europe’s most important XTERRA race. Francois Carloni, who was leading so far, crossed the finish line in 5th place and was not able to maintain his top position in the series ranking.

Among the women, the Hungarian Brigitta Poor won the XTERRA crown in France with a start-finish victory. She is probably the best cross triathlete in Europe at the moment. The permanent rivals Karina Karaskova (CZ) and Karina Wasle (AUT) fiercely fought for second and third place. In the end, however, the Czech won and so it was once again said: 3rd place for Wasle, which means that Karina could defend her lead in the tour classification against the Hungarian.
