O-SEE Chal­lenge and XTERRA Euro­pean Cham­pi­onships 2020 from 14-16 August 2020 in the Zit­tau Moun­tains Nature Park

20 years O-SEE Challenge! Celebrate with us the 20-year success story of a special event of our region. A story that fascinates and encourages at the same time. Several German Championships, 3 European Championships and one World Championship in 2014 let the event grow up, let it unfold and gave it international flair and reputation. Another XTERRA European Championship will be added seamlessly in 2020, as the host club O-SEE Sports was recently awarded the contract to co-host this higher-value championship as part of the O-SEE Challenge 2020.

Michael Kretschmer, Prime Minister of the Free State of Saxony, has agreed to be the patron of the anniversary event. A great gesture, with a lot of symbolism - for the region, for the organizers, for the future of the O-SEE Challenge.

Michael Kretschmer: "The next O-SEE Challenge is something very special: Taking place for the 20th time and the venue of the European Cross-Triathlon Championship. So these are two good reasons to come to Upper Lusatia in August 2020. I'm looking forward to it - and I'm glad that I was able to take over the patronage for the O-SEE Challenge 2020 with the XTERRA European Championship."
