All races for Saturday (XTERRA, O-SEE Classic, O-SEE Team Classic, O-SEE Reduced, O-SEE Team Reduced) are about 80% booked out. Start places can still be booked on site. Late entries are possible on Friday, 19.08.2022 from 1 pm.
Starting places for the Sunday competitions of O-SEE X’Kids and O-SEE Light/Team are still available, on-site entries are still possible from Friday – Sunday.

Cloudy, showers. Temperatures of 19° to 23° C are forecast. The probability of precipitation is high.
Access and parking
Access is only possible via the Äußere Weberstraße to the Freizeitoase Olbersdorfer See.
There is a sufficient number of parking spaces available. These are liable to pay costs. (Daily fee 2 €). Approach via Südstraße Olbersdorf is not possible, this is closed.
Competition briefings
Competition briefings will take place Friday, 19.08. from 5 pm and Saturday, 20.8. from 10 am. The briefing will be provided digitally here. For elite starters there will be additional contact persons for specific questions.
Water temperature and quality
The quality of the water is without complaint. A current water analysis is available.
The water temperature is currently 23° C. A final decision on whether to ban neoprene will not be made until Saturday morning. According to the current status, it can be assumed that a neoprene ban will be issued.
Bicycle washing area
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a bike wash area this year due to environmental and water law reasons (withdrawal ban). Washing bikes in the O-SEE is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in a subsequent disqualification.
Showers
There are 3 outdoor showers on the area. These are located at the temporary mobile home/camp site at parking lot 2 near the exit Südstraße in the direction of “Hotel Haus am See”.
Overnight stay
For campers/camper vans, which do not have a place on the campground due to the construction work, a limited number of places can be rented from Thursday to Sunday on the temporary campground. This pitch has a toilet facility with shower and electricity connections.

Bicycle stands on the festival area
There will be designated bicycle racks on the festival area. It is possible to park your bikes there, but they have to be secured with their own locks. Attention: It is forbidden to lock the bicycles on the borders of the competition tracks.
Important note: Please do not leave bicycles unattended or on the outside of the vehicle. There is a risk of theft. As soon as the bikes are placed in the transition area, they will be guarded by the organizer. Outside the transition area, the organizer does not provide any security guarantees or damage settlements due to theft.
Check-in/Check-out
It is requested that the times shown in the Race Schedule for check-in into the transition area are strictly adhered to. Access to the transition area will not be possible after 11:30 am. Please remove the bikes from the transition area after the race until the time limit stated in the race schedule. The bikes will only be handed out upon presentation of the bike coupon.
Swimming
Swimming caps will be handed out at the swim start. The start will be done separately for each race.
MTB courses
There is a danger of slipping and rolling on loose, sandy ground on the MTB courses. Old ruts are hard and partly dangerous to ride. There is a short-term route change in the area of the Hochwald summit compared to the published plans. The change is clearly marked.
Please take enough liquid with you.
Please do not throw away empty gel packs etc. on the way. We take care …
Running routes
There are no changes compared to 2021.
Attention: XTERRA, Classic and Team Classic have to run 2 laps of 5 km each.
The lap transition is clearly marked and signposted.
Reduced and Team Reduced only one lap à 5 km. Please note!
Finish and award ceremony
Sufficient catering is provided in the finish area.
Massage facilities and medical care are available in the finish area.
Award ceremonies according to Race Schedule from 16.00 hrs for the O-SEE categories, from 18.00 hrs for the XTERRA category, 18.45 hrs for the German Championship.
Pastaparty
Friday from 17.00 under the weather umbrella.
O-SEE Open Air
After the award ceremony the legendary O-SEE Open Air will start. The DJ team Kyau & Albert and DJ Nico Wod & DJ TBM will provide the appropriate atmosphere under the futuristic weather umbrella. The entrance is free.
Opening O-SEE Challenge/XTERRA Germany/DM
The official opening of the event with interviews, video inserts and closing live music will take place on Friday 20.00 after the pasta party under the weather umbrella, end around 22.00.
