Bita­dos, Zemano­va win XTERRA Greece

Local hero Pana­gi­o­tis Bita­dos ensured with a top per­for­mance that the vic­to­ry stays in Greece. Jens Roth returned impres­sive­ly to the top ten of the Euro­pean XTERRA elite with 2nd place. 3rd place went to the Ital­ian Fred­eri­co Spinazze.

For Jin­driska Zemano­va, who comes from the Bohemi­an For­est, it was the first vic­to­ry in an XTERRA race in the elite cat­e­go­ry. But this was fore­shad­owed, because in the last races she already proved a con­stant good form. How­ev­er, it was not until the heat split that she was able to claim vic­to­ry over Italy’s Matilde Bolzan, until then it was a neck-and-neck race. 3rd place went to the XTERRA old cham­pi­on Cari­na Wasle (AUT).
